In 1997 circus enthusiast Ken Harck was in Florida buying some antique circus lithographs when the seller mentioned that she worked with one of Barnum's heirs.
By the end of the day, Harck was at P.T. Barnum's great, great, great grandson's house buying Barnum's personal china and silver tea service, vases given to Barnum from the Czar of Russia, and portrait paintings of the 19th century Barnum family.
Knowledgeable collectors and circus historians were stunned when they found out that Harck came into possession of these well-known Barnum artifacts. Featured on this page is a sample of Harck's private P.T. Barnum collection. These rare collectables and more are featured in the movie FREAKY CIRCUS GUY.
